Does this motor have a rev limiter?

Where can I get a spec sheet or maybe an owners manual, something that can tell me about the motor??

Just wondering about over rev limit.
​If it has that?? I wonder about getting the right prop for the boat??

I believe 5800 rpm is the max for that motor. I do believe it has a rev limiter that kicks in about 6100 rpm. This may have the info you need: http://www.hedges-uk.com/boat/Merc/...es-With Serial Numbers 0D280813 and Above.pdf

No rev limiter to my knowledge......usually on motors with jets.
