Hello,
I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping someone can help me. I bought a used 2002 Playcraft Tri-toon with a 5.0L Bravo III MPI I/0 that I have some questions about. Everything is so hard to get to on this engine but I love this boat. Is there a trick to draining the oil? There is currently a small tube that comes from the oil pan through the drain plug and while it does work it's super slow. Would some type of pump work and if so any recommendations on products would be appreciated. Also, any information on this boat is welcome. I'm having trouble finding info. Thank you

It drains quicker if the oil is hot.
You can also pump it out using the dipstick tube.

You have your work cutout for you. You must assume that a new to you used boat was an old neglected boring boat the last owner did no maintenance on. You must go through all the regular maintenance items before trusting anything, especially your loved ones to stay safe. You can find the manuals to read online at www.boatinfo.no And you can also purchase the manuals. But they are where to start. Save you a load of $$$ to check everything.
