2002 Tracker Targa - Switch Functions?

Hey everyone: we recently purchased a 2002 Tracker Targa 17 Combo and we really love it. I've had jetski's for years and we bought a beater old pontoon a couple years ago, but this is my first "fancy" boat that actually has some features to it, and I've got a couple questions.

Question 1
There's a rocker switch that says "ACC". The settings are labeled Auto and Manual. But I can't really figure out what this does. The nav lights and the radio don't seem to be affected by changing this switch at all. So what is its function?

Question 2
There's a rocker switch for the bilge pump, which appears to be a basic on/off. Seems straight forward enough, however, the bilge area is all closed in. So I guess I don't really understand how the user is supposed to know when to turn this switch on, and I'm assuming that I don't want to run that pump dry, so I would think that I would also need to know when to turn it off.

The rocker switch labeled AUTO-MANUAL is likely for the livewell or bait well. Use the MANUAL position to fill the well and then switch to AUTO. The pump will run for a minute or two and then shut off for a period of time. AS for the bilge pump, you flip the switch on and if water is being pumped out you let it run until it no longer does. Shut the pump off. If you have to do this on a regular basis and a fair amount of water is being pumped each time, then you need to get into diagnostic mode to see how the water is getting in.

Ha! That's a good point about the labels on the switch. I didn't think about the fact that those labels could apply to the neighboring switch, and not the accessory switch (see attached pic).

I also dug through the manual a bit and found a paragraph where they said that they leave this switch "open" for expansion from the factory. So it would seem that they put power to it for the LED, but none of the factory installed accessories are in that circuit.

The bilge pump strategy you laid out makes sense. Seems a little wonky to have to turn it on and run the pump dry just to see if there's water in there when there may not be..... But if that's the way it is, that's the way it is.

It is a "volume" pump, not a "pressure" pump. A few second dry run now and then won't hurt anything. If you pull the drain plug at the ramp after every run and little to no water exits, you don't have an issue. You could also add an automatic float switch. But then you never know if the pump is working unless you use the manual switch now and then. Waiting until you have wet feet before you realize the bilge pump isn't working is not my idea of a good time.
