2002 YAM F115 Steering

I have noticed a 'catch' in my steering just clockwise of center. Is there a suggestion on the first system to look in to? No feedback steering system, steering cables, or motor mounted steering pistons? It is more noticeable when the motor is fully trimmed down, and less noticeable when trimmed 3/4 up and on plane, if that helps.

Which steering system do you have now? Are you wanting to repair or replace?

I currently have some sort of no-feedback steering system. I will have to go to the boat this weekend to find out more (not stored at home).
