I have replaced the water pump housing and impellar on my new to mke motor and it still doesn't pump anything.i tried it in a barrel of water with a drill spinning the shaft and not a drop.i have it full over the intake grate also.i have replaced many mercruisers so I am not a beginner at installing the impellar.turn clockwise while dropping the housing down.
