New to me Albemarle 24 with 345 hours.....Boat runs like a Lexus.....cold starts are perfect..... will run all day with no problems.....stop for a minute and the boat will not start with out spinning the starter for 10-15 seconds and advancing the throttle......engine will finally catch and it will be back to running like a Lexus again until I shut it down again. Next morning it will fire up with a bump of the key..... I have been doing some maint for my peace of mind.....replaced the following....
New fuel pump assembly, new risers and manifolds, new plugs/wires/cap/rotor, new coolant lines....have checked compression and its good, check valve and vent on the tank side seem to be good....I am assuming a vapor lock somewhere??? Leak down on a fuel rail?? Pressure regulator? Sensor somewhere making it think its a cold start rather than a hot one??
Anyone else experienced this before that might can share some insight??
Thanks in advance!
