I have a new to me motor that ran great about four trips. During that time frame the only thing I did was add three cans of seafoam to about 60 gals of gas. The last two trips if I throttle up quickly the rpms abruptly drop from 4000rpms to about 2000rpms and it does this several times before finally throttling past 4000rpms. I have changed both the racor fuel filter and the filter under the cowling on the outboard itself. The problem is beginning to become more frequent now. Am thinking maybe fuel pump. Any insight? The motor has approximately 300 hours.
