We've gone for a 2003 2-stroke Bombadier to a 2020 Suzuki 4-stroke - both 150HP.
Upon delivery home, we were noticing the boat was having a tough time getting up on a plane. And once home it its dock, it's clear the boat stern is sitting about 3 inches below the bottom paint line.
After consulting with my local marina, they all agree that the boat is not taking on water, but rather it's just heavy in the stern after the repower.
What are my options here? Counterbalance? What should I be worried about here?
