I recently purchased a Fourwinns with Johnson 150. It is a 2003 purchased new a few weeks ago. When we took it for a test run. It had problems idling and throttling up. It would die when you gave it gas. Tech contacts Bomb and is told it is a faulty Vacuum Switch. He robs one from another unit and everything looks fine. Now I am back to the same problem. Called Dealer and am told that a batch of Vacum Switches got out of factory with out a bleed hole drilled in them. And that it was possible that the one he robbed was bad also.
Boat is now at another Johnson dealer, as the Fourwinns dealer is four hours away. Haven't heard from them. So I thought I would make a post to see if anyone else had heard of this problem or may have a solution.

Thanks,

George
