Ive got manuals, just like to hear opinions...

Ok so Im trying to figure out what I need to do for when I take the outdrive off. I am going to change the impeller so I am gonna buy that with the gaskets I need. Also, I am going to buy the gasket set for the outdrive unit.

The boat is 7 years old so Im going to have somebody look at the gimbal bearing, bellows, ujoints and alignment to see if anything needs replaced.

As far as winterizing Im just going to change the oil/filter, gear lube, fuel filter, lube, anti corrosion. Its going to be stored inside a heated building and I plan on taking it out at least once a month just to run it. Changed the plugs, and I will probably change the distributor cap, rotor and wires. Anything else? Thanks. Go Lions!!!

sounds like you got it covered, but...

what if the heat goes out in the building??

why exactly do you plan on running it once a month during storage??

if you plan on a tune-up, just wait until spring when you are gonna be using the boat

As far as running it once a month or so, I live in NC and if its a decent day I like to take it out for a cruise. I really don't want to winterize it and not be able to run it until spring. I want to keep it inside a heated building just incase it gets super cold and just to keep out of the weather instead of sitting in the driveway. I could let it sit in the driveway and drain all the water out when not in use.
