Hi folks....I'm a new owner of a tracker that I bought today and new to the forums. I have a quick question for you Tracker experts.....do they sell a shorter windshield than the standard stock model. Aftermarket products will do fine...I have some low bridges to go under in Flroida this winter and the stock windshield is just too high. If I cannot find one I'll make some sort of hindge to drop it when needed. Thanks in advance for your reponse...I look forward to these forums, they are very informative.

My Tracker has a 90 merc and did 42 MPH @ 5200 RPM's with a full tank of gas....does that sound about right?

Thanks,

Steve

I don't know the answer to your windshield issue, but it reminded me of a fishing show I saw one time. The pro-angler wanted to get under a very low bridge to fish on the other side. So he pulled his plug and let it fill with water so it sat lower in the water. Once on the other side, he just flipped his bilge pump on and pumped it all out. He had the entire area to himself to fish.

Jacket, congrats on the new rig. Just wanted to say I enjoyed reading your posts regarding the old Merc. Not only are they entertaining, they epitomize the true purpose of iboats. Happy boating!
