2004 115 HP Yamaha

When I was out yesterday in my boat, there seemed to be something wrong with the drive portion of the engine. When I accelerated, the boat did not speed up. I didn't see anything wrong with the prop. Any ideas? I only have about 100 hrs on the engine. Thanks.

could be a spun prop hub. externally the prop will look fine.

I have to agree with Ben. The rubber bushing has parted company. It can be rebuilt.
