Great board. My 50 horse is acting up. When starting cold it idles with the fast idle ok then all at once the rpms go way up and I have to pull back the fast idle. It runs fine full out but when you cut back to idle it dies. It also has a spitting miss to it, in idle, at times and usually dies. I keep Stable in the fuel at all times. It looks as though the search forums are pointing to fuel mixture. Since I'm not very mechanical, can someone please explain this procedure.
