make sure that the muffs are covering the intake screens and that it has a good seal between the muffs and the gear box caseing.
If all that is good....and the motor(powerhead) is not getting very hot...the engin is going to be hot but if you cant hold your hand on the head for at least 3 seconds its overheating....
if its not hot to touch but the tell tail is very hot then its means that the water is taking the heat out of the engin....which is what its ment to do
