I have a 2004 F-150 Lariat Supercab with the automatic climate controls. The blend door motor is sticking and you have to cycle the controls to get it to switch to the dash. I bought a new motor and the question is where is the motor located? How do you change it?

Wow....do you have a lot of work ahead of you. I'm almost positive the blend door motor is inside the plentum chamber. The only way I know of getting to it is by pulling the whole dash assembly out of the truck. That way you can get the case off the chamber to get to the blend door motor.

I hope that Ford made it easier than Chevrolet did. I am having to replace one of three actuators on my '94 Suburban. Naturally the one that needs replaced is the very hardest one to get to. At least, on mine, all three actuators are on the outside of the heater boxes,

Do a Google for yours. There will probably be a lot of info out there. I found a Youtube for mine but curiously it only talked about the two easy to access ones.
