2004 Glastron GX205 tac

Hey guys!! New to the site. Also just bought a boat after not having one for 15 years. So question for you. My tac does not work. Anyone have the wire diagram or ideas to check? It has the 5.0 with the Venta Drive.

Diagram not needed. Back of tach has the terminals labeled. + (12 volts with key on) gnd (ground), L (internal light) and S (send). If you have 1`2 volts and ground at the gauge, chances are the problem is the tach itself or the send wire (from the ignition system at the engine) is disconnected or broken. Volt/Ohm/Milliamp meter is your friend here.
