I have a 2004 Johnson 115 60degree on a Nitro 700. At the end of last summer it broke a crank. We rebuilt, new rings, bearings, crank etc. Also put a new stator in her.
Now it takes a quite a while to come up on pad and when it gets there top rpm's is 4300 and runs about 35mph. Top rpm's prior to rebuild was 4800-5000 and top speed, trimmed up was 45hmph.
Carbs were clean with new kits put in. Throttle linkage is correct. Not sure where to look next.
