I'm not sure if this has been covered in any thread because I haven't found anything like this before.

I have a single Yamaha 150 txrc 04', I recently noticed after flushing the motor that my main oil reservoir dropped down a couple of inches. I'm unsure of exactly where it's going. I did notice a little mixture gas/oil on the bottom part of the powerhead inside the cowl. Although I can't see where it's coming from. Would this be an issue with the exhuast ports and if so what's the average cost to have those repaired ?

Any information will be helpful

if you have a leak you should find it and fix it..not sure what your exhaust port has to do with anything.

Re: 2004 Yamaha 150 txrc Oil problem

can you explain what your idea of a main oil tank is?
There are 2 tanks on most boats the remote tank in the hull and the engine tank(one on the motor.)
The engine tank is fairly small and level will drop as the motor is run until the level switch tells the remote oil tank oil pump to refill it
