After trying to start the motor with no luck I pulled off the top carb (due to motor sitting for 3 months). Pulled the bowl off and just by the eye could not see that the float was stuck. But did fell what I can only describe to be really fine sand in the bottom of the bowl. Not much at all just a tad bit. Took a air hose to it and put it back together. While bolting the carb back on I broke the (I guess) idle screw. But went ahead and put it back together. Hit the starter and it fired right up. But would run very ruff at idle. Almost like it was coughing and then die. At higher throttle positions all seamed to be okay.
Question is if I pull the carbs off and give them a good cleaning and carb kits how do I get the idle set right? Also how do you sync them if I need to do that with a 2005 25hp?
Thanks,
Robert
