So when i started my boat up after sitting all winter i was not getting any water out of it, the alarm started going off so i shut it down. I thought it was the impeller and took the lower unit off and the impeller was perfect. I put it all back together and the same thing. Finally i pulled the thermostat and put the housing back on without the thermostat in it and bam the water was coming out fine. Has anyone else had a thermostat go bad? It looks like the one in there is a 110. Should i put something else in there? Is there any better ones i can put in there? or should i should i just get the 110 mercury one?
