I have a Bayliner 2005 Capri 175 excellent condition. I just received from a friend. Maintained meticulously. Filled it with gas, I took it out for the first time after it was winterized. I was told that upon 1st start after winterization the engine would burn off a lot of smoke due to the way it was winterized with oil. I never saw any smoke. It started and ran o.k. 1st time out. 2nd time out it would start up but wouldn't stay running. I tried starting and keeping it started about 20 times. Any ideas?
