So i've been at a loss here with my boat and getting top end speeds. I run a big block volvo in a 24' Cobalt. Currently have F7 duo props on the boat. RPM's are maxed at 4600 and boats only getting 52 mph. I know for a fact this boat should push 60 mph. I know there will be more questions from the pro's here and i appreciate any help you guys can offer. My question here is, how do i get this engine running over 5000 RPM's where it should be? And would it help to pitch down to an F4 OR F5?
