Make sure you stick to the "Optimax" items in the manual. That engine is a little different than a "normal" 2 stroke outboard.( no fogging or decarbing ) <br /><br />Run Mercury "Quickleen" in the fuel as directed. Stick with the "Mercury Optimax" oil and you should be good until the end of the season.<br /><br />Then follow the storage/layup procedure in the manual.
