I just bought this High Trust model ,lets say accidentaly. But I have a few question about it.I didn't wanted for my boat extra power or something like that.Even I don't have pantoon or sail boat.I have a boat for daily cruising, some shore fishing boat(it is like Boston Whaler Dauntless 16)I ordered F50 but they delivered me F50GETL High Trust model!!I cannot change it too.Because in my country, for 2005 they are just delivering F50High Trust model.
Anyway ,immediately I could see diameter of prop is too large for speed.Sure it ,is for extra power
not for the speed. Also I know some difference with the shaft etc.
My question is what can I do now?for speed?.If I change the prop will it make a difference?if yes can anyone give me a good advice?with the recommended diameter for speed?
if anyone used that High Trust F50 ,I want to know how is doing with the speedwork?

I didn't not install the F50 to my boat yet.Because With that big prop it will not make any sense to my needs I guess
I am waiting for a good advice please
Thanks

Welcome to iboats. :)

If you carry heavy loads or pull waterskiers, that is a good motor. For speed, about all you can do is put up with what you can get out of it. You want the motor to run about 6000rpms at full throttle. The only way to know is to try one and adjust from there.
