2006 DF70 has check engine code of 24

I have a water leak on the motor and it was running then. removed side cover to see leak area. Engine has check engine light, it beeps 2 times then 4 times, so I assume its code 24. Can anyone give me a code sheet or answer to the code 24 problem. Thanks, JP

Don't know what you mean exactly by water leak.

But 2 bips then 4 bips, as per the manufacturer's manual, is the self daignostic signal for a CMP failure (Camshaft position sensor). That's the one near the camshaft pulley, on the very top of the engine (red and black wires). Check the connections of this sensor. Then there's a procedure in the manual to chek that sensor to determine whether it's the cause or whether its rather the ECM.
You should get the manual anyway.
