2006 f60 no start, no tilt.....

I've got a 2006 F60TLR that won't run, it quit on me a couple of weeks ago and I haven't been able to diagnose the problem. I've got 12+ volts to all the proper places, battery connections are clean etc. I'm getting a brief click from the tilt relay and nothing else. It will not turn over or run. I'm getting a very quiet "sizzling" noise from one of the relays when the ignition is in the "on" position. I replaced the main relay thinking this was where it was coming from, but it didn't help, (still making the noise and same problems).
Anyone have any ideas or some experience with this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Howdy.

Welcome to iboats. :)

Check where the battery cables attach to the engine. Hidden corrosion in the connectors can cause your problem. Also a good idea to have your battery load tested.

I was thinking of having the battery tested. I'm getting 12 volts to the main connections without any voltage drop while turning the key, so I don't think that's an issue, but I'll look at them again.
Thank you for the welcome and advice.

A multimeter is useless in testing a very high current circuit. Take both battery cables off and scrub the connectors shiny.

That is your clue. Find the source of the sizzle! It could be the socket for the relay is burnt.

Thank you everyone for the help. It was a cracked connector on the cable end. I could not see the break in it until I cleaned them. Took it out last week and it's running great. Anyone need a main relay.......
