So this is whats happening. Got boat out of storage. Got it running on muffs in the driveway with no issues. A couple days later I brought the boat down and launched it. I went to start it and heard no beep, it would turn over but not run. I pulled it out and brought it home. I did some troubleshooting and found a blown fuel pump fuse. I replaced the fuse and put the muffs back on and it fired right up in the driveway. I put it through the start cycle 20 times with no issues. The next day I bring it back to the lake and launch it. It blows the fuse as soon as I try to start it. I replace the fuse and try again. Blows again. I try a third time and it fires. I take the boat for 10min run and park it in my slip. Before I leaves I try to start it 10 times and starts each time. The next morning same thing happens again, blow a few fuses then it fires and runs perfect.
When cold and in water It'll blow the fuse as soon as the key is turned to run and the fuel pump cycles. Once it runs it'll start with no issues . It will run and cruise through all throttle positions with no issues or hesitations.
Any ideas. Fuel pump? Relay? something else.
