Hi, I bought a newer boat and had some issues with it. I'm not really fimillar with outboard engines, but I'm mechanically inclined. I noticed that at different throttle speeds the rpms drop a bit and jump up again. Almost like a surge. Its about a 100 to 150 drop. Lake was calm. I played with trim a bit. It almost sounded like a prop slip but the rpms should go up I would think. Maybe I'm reading into this to much but I had it out 3 times now and never noticed it before. The only thing that was different is that I only had 2 people in the boat instead of four. I also added a second battery for running accessories that charges of the alternator. Can't see that being a problem. Hope someone can shed some light on this. I have a trip planned and don't want to have any issues with it as it is in a remote location. I also put a hydro foil on the leg and it has a stainless prop. The hydrofoil been on since I bought it. Its a triton 190-fs boat as well. Thanks
