i just currently bought a 25hp merc 4 stroke it ran fine with no problems the first trip. i flushed it out the motor with clean water with no problems , but the second trip i had problems. it runs fine till you get it to half throttle then the red light comes on & the safety system shuts down the motor . does any one have any idea's what the problem might be? or can i fix the problem my self with out taken it to the dealer to have it fixed ?
