Anyone out there removed the back seat that sits against the engine cowling. I'm doing some upholstery work and I don't want to tear it up too bad, but not sure if if slips in place or is fastened some other way, appreciate any help.

I can tell you for sure but most seats slip into place. You normally can remove them for storage..

I am guessing here, but if it is attached to the engine cowling it is possibly attached by screws or bolts/nuts. Look for nuts on the inside of the cowling or small slits in the vinyl, usually on the bottom side where screws are inserted through the vinyl.

lol, so now you have your answer, could be slide in or hinged, but definitely one or the other maybe a combination of the two....

Thanks for the help, the advice to look on the bottom was the ticket. If I pushed the vinyl and foam on the bottom up there is a screw and bracket hidden up there. Once I got them out I was able to lift the seat out of the slots and remove, thanks!
