Good day everyone. I am referring to a 2006 Suzuki DF 70 four-stroke. I am having trouble with intermittent no-start. The engine cranks but won't fire. When this happens, I hear no "buzzer" and I have no warning lights on tachometer. This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, the engine dies and I am dead in the water. I have a new, fully-charged battery in the boat and I am at a loss at where to go nexr. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We were on the water when it happened, and it doesn't happen all the time. I have had this trouble for about a month now. I have changed the spark plugs (simply just because I had no maintenance history about the motor), the fuel filter (because I thought maybe it would help), and I have removed, drained, and cleaned the fuel tank because I thought it was water in the fuel. When it dies and I turn the key to restart the motor, sometimes it fires but most of the time it just cranks with no instrumentation function. The engine just dies while underway. I have checked to make sure the throttle is in neutral.

Thanks in advance.
