Hey guys. New to this website/thread posting deal. I have a 2007 Larson LXi 228. Love the boat, however yesterday we went out on the lake for the first time this year. We ran maybe 20 minutes at about 40mph, then idled another 15minutes back to the party cove. We swam for 4-5 hours. Got back in the boat and had to crank on it to get it to start, it almost killed the battery. This has happened numerous times last year and I took it to the dealer only to have them tell me that they didnt find anything wrong with it. They also told me to "leave the sundeck open whenwe were parked". Like anyone wants to do that. I have tried starting it in fast idle but this seems to make it worse. I can smell fuel when I tried this. After this happened last year, I got in the water only to find a lot of black soot stuck around the waterline by the motor. I assume this was because when the boat started it was so rich with fuel that it produced this soot like stuff. I need some advice, ths boat is still under warrranty, but I do not know who to take it to. You can see what I got from the dealer where I bought the boat. Any help is great. Thanks
