I have a 2007 5.0 MPI with a Bravo 3 drive and noticed some hesitation when shifting into forward. I did a search here and saw several posts about adjusting the lower shift cable, but the barrel nut on mine appears to have been crimped/pinned so it is not adjustable. Is there another way to adjust it on this engine? I have 113 hours on it so I wouldnt expect it to be worn out so fast. Also, the boat has never gotten hot so I would not expect melting either. Thoughts?
