Yesterday after an hour out on the boat and on my way back in just cruising at under 3000 RPM, The engine just suddenly killed. Turn the key to re-start and there is nothing, no ignition whistle, No gauges, nothing. Navigation lights, Bilge, and Blower all have power though. I checked the 50 Amp circuit breaker on top of engine and it had not triggered. Alternator was charging and battery still has a full charge. I cannot find a bad fuse anywhere Yet there is no power to Ignition switch.......I have had this boat since new and the only issue I ever had was two years ago when I could not turn the boat off with the key and had to trigger the 50 amp breaker to shut boat off. Dealer repair said it was a diode that had gone bad and they replaced it. Any one have any idea whats going on?
