2007 Johnson fast strike 175 lower unit interchangeably

I have a 2007 Johnson 175 fast strike and am looking for exact years and horsepower lowers that will fit my motor. The charts really confuse me. Thanks guys

From 1991 to 2007 years.----And they must be the 60 degree looper.----Others may fit but may require driveshaft / shif rod swap.

The 150 and 175 are a direct fit.-----Is yours a 20 " or 25" motor?"----Others motors will fit if you understand swapping driveshaft and shift rod.

i do know how to swap shift rod an shaft no issue. Had a guy with a 79 140 that said it would work I wasn’t confident

I would not try to use a 1979 140 gearcase on a prop rated 175.----It might fit / work for a little while till it comes to a dynamic halt.
