I am pulling my hair out! Whats left of it. Went to start this year will not crank. Dead Cell in the battery. Replace battery and it turns over will not start. Check the Lanyard with a Volt meter its good. Check for spark at coil no spark. No fuel pump coming on at key for a couple seconds either. Clean the ground connections and put dielectric grease on them. I notice there is no Tach when cranking, HUH? Pull the relays and test them, they click and test ok. Jump the terminals and the fuel pump comes on. Test all the fuses, good. So I take the boat over to the dealer to read the codes. $98 later the tech says there high end reader will not communicate with the ECM and the ECM is Bad. So before I take that gamble I pull the relays and put the meter on the ECM side of the relay and had my son crank the engine over. Nothing. Pull the ECM connector off and I have power to the ECM. Order a brand new ECM, still it cranks and no start.

4 weeks and I am still not on the water, HELP!!

Ok finally figured it out with the help of someone posting the wiring diagram on the forum. Somewhere after the lanyard and before the main 10 pin connector the purple wire is broke. Only 1 volt. Jumped from the lanyard to the 10 pin connector and the fuel pump comes on! Thanks guys
