2007 Tracker V18 Tournament sending unit

I am looking to replace the sending unit. The only problem I am having is I cannot get access to it. The fuel tank is under the battery platform and under the rear live well. I have taken off the round access cover by the engine area and the aluminum plate inside the battery compartment. Does anybody know the easiest way to get to it?

What part of the tank do you see when you remove those covers? Strange they would provide an access port that accesses nothing. You do know what the sender looks like -- right? If you are replacing the sender because the gauge doesn't work, have you ruled out wiring and a bad gauge before going after the sender?

I did end up finding it. It was under an aluminum support that was under the seat that was riveted.
