I'm not sure if this is permitted but I got the power steering pump off and the reservoir is corroded. I can't find the part anywhere and I've spent the better part of the day searching.(edited for proper content)

If you can get the GM part # off of it, you'd probably save about $300 replacing it with the original GM part.

Ayuh,..... Yer local GM dealer can supply the parts,..... or a local auto junkyard,.....

If you swap the whole pump, rather than just the reservoir, keep the same pressure valve/ outlet from yer original pump, as the pressures are different 'tween an automotive, 'n marine,....

its a saginaw power steering pump, also known as the "can-o-ham" pump.

VP used a specific outer can with a specific return tube and metric studs. you may need to transfer your existing return tube from the old one to the new reservoir. they are only brazed in place.

they also make stainless saginaw reservoirs.

however have you tried simply wire brushing your current reservoir and re-painting?

BTW, doubt you need a pump if your reservoir is bad, since the pump is only held in by 1 bolt and an o-ring.
