Bought 2008 lund with Mercury outboard. I always have trouble putting the yellow plastic oil cap back on. Last time a friend came over and he just kept finessing the cap until it started turning in. Again I changed oil and trying to put cap back on and having a heck of a time. My friend is going to come over and help. I try to be gentle and not force it. Tell you if he comes over and it screws in for him I am tempted to start filling the oil thru the tube that you check oil and not take yellow cap off. Anyone else have trouble putting this cap on? ….steve
