2008 Chap Sunesta 224 Trailer Height

Hi all, new to the forum and looking at purchasing a 2008 Chap Sunesta 224. Its being sold by a local dealer but does not come with a trailer.

Can anyone confirm the height of the boat on a trailer with and without the tower? It has the low profile windhshield on it also.

My garage door height clearance is 7' 11" and width is a double door so nothing to worry about there.

I recently went through although I had the boat on the trailer to measure. I measured 9 different ways and determined it would be close, luckily it did fit. I have a similar boat, Glastron 235 and it clears my 8' door by about 1 inch.

Hitch height on your truck will matter also.

Can you adjust the up limit on your automatic garage door to get yourself the full 8'??

Boat wagons are highly adaptable, so there's really no way to answer yer question, til the boat is sittin' on 'er wagon,....

Get a Custom wagon built, 'n you could probably get the bottom of the hull, within' 6" of the hi-way,...
