Am in the process of rebuilding my carb. Accelerator pump has straight shaft, rebuild kit has l shaped shaft. Do I:

a. replace old one with new one
b. buy a new accelerator pump that has straight shaft
c. Keep old accelerator pump but clean it in carb cleaner (i am using berrymans dip can)

Here is manual 41 (need adobe flash to view) and zoom in to see if it will work. Pages going further will show removal and install

Thanks much. I think I am letting this intimidate me too much because really the old accel pump is L shaped its just two pieces of metal vs one that is bent 90 degrees in the sierra kit upon further review and actually taking the pump off the clip. I am curious how you ran across this manual though its really nice compared to the SELOC one I have

boatinfo.no is in the Netherlands
Unable to save things but good to look. It has all kinds of boat manuals, this is the main link

Most folks here use the Seloc to kneel or sit on in the rocks :D
