2008 Mercury 40hp 4 stroke manual tilt to power

I got a 2008 Mercury 40hp 4 stroke the other day which was set up for a tiller handle, so I converted it back to remote, but then I noticed that I didn’t have any wires like my classic fifty for the tilt and it’s actually a manual tilt rather then a power tilt. Can I take the system off my classic fifty and throw it onto my 40hp?
