2008 sea doo gtx battery drain?

I have a 2008 sea doo gtx 155 and the battery drains when the machine sits on the lift for two days. It drains to the point where it won't turn over. I recently discovered that every 20 seconds the dash lights up like it is going through the sequence when you plug in the key. Then it goes blank and repeats in 20 seconds.

The battery drain issue has happened since I first bought the ski and three different dealers looked at it and found no issues. Now the warranty is up and I am struck trying to figure this out. Any ideas on whatever to start?

The security system is always on, thus you always get a battery drain. Two days, though is a bit much.

The "every 20 second deal" sounds fishy to me. What did the dealer say about that?

If the 20 second thing is normal for a 2008, then it sounds like your battery needs replacing.

Regardless, I would never leave my battery hooked up. I installed a Battery QD switch and now all my battery drain problems are solved. It does require resetting the clock every time I reconnect, but all the other engine info is still stored correctly.
