IMO I would just say as they are "starter boats". They float, and have the same engine and drives as the better quality boats.

thanks AllDodge - floating is a good characteristic - would you say it's a good entry level since you get the components of the better boats (engine, drives) to get you on the water for a few years, then upgrade down the road?

Yup what he said. I looked at one last year when I was thinking of getting something larger than my 25 foot bayliner. Its pretty much on par with the quality of my bayliner. Now with that said we have has some great trips on her and she is still floating.
