2009 godfrey Aqua Patio has some real issues.

I wanted to know if anyone else has had any serious issues with their Godfrey Marine Aqua Patio Pontoon boats?

Godfrey has a warrantee but getting them to respond to a concern/s is as hard as getting a snake to cough up its meal.

Sounds like a dealer problem to me. A good dealer would get it fixed for you...

The dealer has been fixing the problems as they come up but it has gotten to the point that some of the issues are Godfrey engineering and need a factory fix.

For instance the design of the seat latch was not designed or manufactured by the dealer and they have tried to fix it with what they have been given. The Bimini top supports and the brackets used are Godfreys design and the dealer has already tried to modify them but the problem still present. The top is 12.5 feet long and 8.2 feet wide.

The boat we have is a complete redesign for 2009 and many of the issues are with parts that have never been on a toon before or adequately tested.


I am open for suggestions though as I am not married to the dealer or Godfrey.

YA, Godfrey was sold 2-3 years ago and their quality really dropped, they used to a very good company.


Have you tried calling them directly adn ask for the head of cutomer service, tell him what is going on and see if/what they will do.

For your next boat I would suggest a Bennington, probably a little more expensive but they have a 5 year stem to stern warranty.

5150 Yes I called and emailed and no reply. Sent an email to Bob Moran...We will see if there is a reply tomorrow.
