2009 Volvo GXi 5.0 Clicking sound

When I first start the engine, and it starts very well, there is a clicking sound that lasts for a minute or two and then goes away. Could this be a valve and is it a serious problem that I need to get serviced?

There is about a Thousand things it could be. As a marine tech, when I get an engine with a complaint of a clicking sound, I get my mechanics stethoscope out and pinpoint as close as possible as to where the click is coming from. Then I can make an educated guess as to what may be causing the click.
