2010 Mercury 15 HP ProKicker tiller

I had Bass Proshop install the Mercury 25" 2010 15 HP 4 stroke ProKicker Tiller model that included the Power trim & Tilt. I think they first came out October 2008 in this 15 HP & 20 HP ProKicker models. The 9.9 HP came out ~ 5 years earlier. So the 15 is like the 20 HP and the 9.9 cowel will not fit on it .

My old unit was a 2002 Mercury 15 HP Tiller kicker with electric start & Panther Tilt & Trim external switch.

When BPS tried to hook up the panther switch it blew a fuse.


SO I need to know what wiring harness and control box to connect to this engine by the Captains seat. And if available a on/off switch.

I know the 1st start of the day will be back at the engine.

The wiring is probably different for it or they hooled it up wrong. Most likly the wiring style has changed in some way between 2002 and 2010

Yes this engine came out October 2008, so its not 12 month's old. Mercury owns the Prokicker unit gears and lower unit I think. Tohatsu mede the engine for them.

So I really would like a Mercury /Tohatsu expert tell me what parts I need.


the 9.9 Prokicker I think came out in 2005, this one is similar to the 20HP Prokicker that also came out October 2008 so it not similar to this 9.9 ProKicker.

I understand that the Panther units wiring does not work as it was for a Panther Trim unit. :
