2011 volvo penta 5.0 engine quits after hitting large wake.

My 2011 Chaparral volvo penta 5.0 engine quits after hitting a large wake or bump. Both red and yellow engine lights illuminate, with 5 beeps. After the key is turned off, then on, only the yellow engine light remains and engine restarts and runs normal until the next wake is hit. All connections have been checked, normal. Nothing is loose anywhere within the boat. This problem is intermittent.. any ideas would be appreciated..

Nothing is loose anywhere within the boat.

There is something loose, you just have not found it yet

With boat running grab wires and connectors and wiggle. Might be the key switch or wires connecting to them. Being a 2011 its probably MPI so there is a lot of connectors, including the ones on the ECM

A sudden violent rise of the bow, must be causing an Intermittent open/short in the engine harness. Check for any chafed wires that could be grounding, that includes the Harness going to the Helm, as well as under the Dash
