Very generally a 4 blade has better low to mid range performance,Better control around the dock
They resist ventlitation. On planing hulls they stay on plane better at reduced throttle.Should produce slightly lower slip.

Went from a 3 blade aluminum to a 4 blade stainless (dropped one pitch) and that's exactly what I found plus a slight increase in MPG. Very happy with the change.
