I have jumped A to C! No power to the coil. Engine cranks, power is at the (A) pin.
But know power to the coil.
What’s up.

Not sure if it is your issue, but if your battery is less than perfect...it can still crank perfectly, but not fire up the ignition system, just because the starter is taking all the load...these mpi are very sensitive to this...happened to me a few years ago...couldnt fathom what was going on at all...cranked over just fine, but wouldn't even try and fire..people suggesting trying another battery, annoyed the life out me, just because I had totally dismissed that idea, because it cranked over just fine...borrowed a battery and it went first time...happened again to me the start of next season...charged the battery for an hour...and she went first time again. since then, I wouldn't have enough fingers and toes to count how many times I have seen others with mpi and gxi engines have exactly the same issue..thought I would mention it.

There is no power to the coil! Tested with a volt/ohm meter.

Just thought there may be someone that would have an idea.
Thanks.

Did you read the post I pointed you at? Jumping A to C won't power the coil. You need to jump H to C...

That pinout is wrong. Read the post I directed you to in my first reply.

Then look on the back of the 14 pin connector and see which pin has a purple wire. That's your 'ignition power' wire...

Do you get a beep when first connected, and have you checked the fuses?

The motor is on the stand! All fuses are good!
Cranks just fine! No spark.
Does the transom plug need to be plugged in? Shift interrupter plug need jumped?
I’m a carburetor guy! The 10 pin plug is so simple.

Do you hear a beep or 2 when jumping A to C? If no beep is heard then ECM is not turning ON, or the beeper is disconnected.

Jump A to C and there should be a click at least, and the fuel pump should turn ON for a couple seconds then back OFF. The main power relay (MPR) energizes to supply power to the motor (ECM, fuel pump, etc).
